Tips to help you get over the plateau blues!

During your mission to achieve a healthy body you may hit a plateau like a brick wall. There is nothing worse than getting to a certain point in your weight loss process only to hit a plateau. It's like no matter how hard you work or the less you eat, you still have that extra poundage that wants to stay on your body. At this point it may be best to restructure your routine, add in a few new supplements, and change your exercise patterns. For instance if you are always focusing on working your legs/bun/thigh area then your body will get "overloaded" on doing the same type of routine all the time. It's best to change up your workout routine so your body doesn't get used to the same type of exercise. So if you are going to use weights to work your arms out one day, try to focus on your legs/buns/thighs the next day or just do cardio only. It's always good to give your body a "resting" time when you will just streach your body out so yoga or pilates are great for allowing your body some "down time" from constantly pushing and working your muscels hard.

Also a good supplement will allow you to gain more momentum and also let your body burn more fat. Take time to research the type of supplement you think you will need for the results you want to achieve. Getting a supplement that will increase your level of energy without making you jittery or changing your mood is best for maintaining a positive outlook about succeeding.

So take time to switch it up, choose a good supplement, and complete your health/weight loss goals.

Eye Primer! Is it necessary?

Ok so I just talked about keeping your tools clean, but lets talk about eye primer. That's right eye primer. Now everyone knows that sometimes after applying a beautiful array of colorful eye shadow on your eye lid that during the course of the day the eye shadow can crease if you don't properly prepare your eye lid for the eye shadow. As I stated in my previous post you need your face to be prepared to receive the make-up that is going to be applied for perfection to be achieved. So it is obviously necessary to "prime" the eye prior to putting on your eye shadow.

Using eye primer on your eye will work as your base that will allow the color of the eye shadow to adhere to your eye and prevent the eye shadow color from creasing as your busy day progresses. It's a great product to have at your availability. There are several companies that make eye primer that you can use. However, if you are on a budget and need a quick way to "prime" your eye, I suggest you use your foundation as a "base" coat prior to putting your eye shadow on. So when you put your foundation on you should also apply a small amount to your eye lid as well so that your eye shadow has something to adhere to. Now this is the budget way of doing it, but it works. Now to keep your color in place it is also good to use a powder to seal in your work and keep your face from getting shiny during the day. A good translucent powder would be good to set your make-up and eye shadow. Translucent powder will allow the color of the eye shadow to show through without making your look seem "cloudy" or muted.

So get your eyeshadow out and start working those colors! Set it and forget it! Yay to beautiful eyeshadow with no more eye creases!

Stay Gorgeous, beautiful, sexy, and fabulous! Remember no one else can wear the look like you can, embrace your beauty and shine!

Make-up 101~Keep Your Tools Clean~

Every great painting starts out with a blank canvas that is prepared for the paint and oils to be placed on it. A painter is going to make sure the canvas they are painting on is ready to be worked on. Just like when you are repainting your home, every painter knows that inorder for the paint to adhere to the wall a base primer needs to be applied.

The same applies to our face. When you are applying make-up on your face you want to make sure you are working with clean skin and clean tools/beauty brushes. Applying make-up to a clean face will make the finished product that much more perfect. In addition, having clean make-up brushes/tools keeps bacteria out of your lovely face. Therefore it is essential to wash your make-up brushes once a week. It's best to clean them daily with a quick drying make-up cleaner cloth or spray brush cleaner, but a thorough cleaning is necessary once a week. After doing some research I learned that you can use olive oil to clean the make-up particles off of the brush first and then you can proceed to clean the brushes with a mild shampoo (baby shampoo) or facial cleanser. Some have even suggested putting a conditioner on the brush and then rinsing it out to help the brush stay soft (of course that step is not necessary but a great tip).

When you are done washing the brush it's best to dry it off with a clean towel or paper towel and let it dry by laying it on the towel. Never stand the brush upward to dry as this can cause water to go down the shaft of the brush and cause bacteria to grow, so always lay the brush flat on a clean surface or towel to air dry.

So Happy cleaning of those brushes! Let's keep those make-up tools clean so our face can remain gorgeous!

Is your health in or out of shape?

Let's face it, everyone who is anyone is either healthy, getting healthy, or is just plain unhealthy. Whether you work out regularly or not, your health is based on many components including your diet, digestive activity, and water consumption, just to name a few. Many people don't consume enough water or foods with essential fiber rich nutrients, unfortunately this can cause an unbalanced digestive system and an overall unhealthy body. Since most weight loss products focus only on losing weight or building muscle mass, a lot of people don't realize that digestive function and proper release of toxins from our bodies is just as essential as our weight and body mass index. The best way to get your body back on track with regularity and proper digestion is to consume soluble fiber and drink lots of water. Basically eat your fruits and veggies and drink the suggested amount of water (64 oz) per day. Most health professionals say it's essential to eat 5 servings of fruits and veggies each day. However, most people don't have the time or energy to consume that many servings of veggies and fruit, or they just don't like to eat fruits and veggies. Although, proper fruit and veggie consumption is best for maintaining a healthy body, people neglect this part of health and end up suffering the consequences. A new study and new product developments now allow people to get their daily fruit and veggie requirement through a simple supplement. Supplements are a great way to substitute what you are not getting in your body on a daily basis. However, the absorption of supplements in your blood stream is essential toward the effectiveness of the product you are consuming. There is a newly developed product called zorbmax that was created to help you increase your bodies daily use of the nutrients you consume so the supplements you consume will not go to waste or be unused by your body. For more information on zorbmax, it's use and purpose, go to http://www.livesmart360.com/mstalentedt for more details.

Upscale your look

Is your look looking plain and drab? Are you seeking a new way to dress up your look and stay in your budget? Well as we are all becoming more budget conscious these days, it is essential that we take what we have in our closet and dress it up to add a little flare without breaking the bank. So here are some quick tips to get you from drab to F.A.B. in less than 2 seconds (just kidding, but seriously it won't take much of your time at all).

With the look above you have your basic start to a great blazer and jeans look. As you can see she has on a simple white blazer, white tank top, and skinny jeans with a pair of high heels and a leather belt. It's a great look to go out on the town with. But if you are looking to add a little more flare to the simple blazer and skinny jeans look I suggest you add in a few accessories like a nice beaded necklace to add a little pop and a trendy look to this classic style.

If you'd rather not wear a necklace but prefer a flashy type of earring you could choose a nice dangle style earring that will bring the outfit out.

You could also pair the look with a colorful beaded bracelet or costume jewelry multi color stone ring to give the outfit a hint of F.A.B.

Always remember the number one rule don't over accessorize, if you have on too many accessories take off one or two to make the look more complete.

Just some tips from the number one F.A.B.
