Eye Primer! Is it necessary?
Ok so I just talked about keeping your tools clean, but lets talk about eye primer. That's right eye primer. Now everyone knows that sometimes after applying a beautiful array of colorful eye shadow on your eye lid that during the course of the day the eye shadow can crease if you don't properly prepare your eye lid for the eye shadow. As I stated in my previous post you need your face to be prepared to receive the make-up that is going to be applied for perfection to be achieved. So it is obviously necessary to "prime" the eye prior to putting on your eye shadow.
Using eye primer on your eye will work as your base that will allow the color of the eye shadow to adhere to your eye and prevent the eye shadow color from creasing as your busy day progresses. It's a great product to have at your availability. There are several companies that make eye primer that you can use. However, if you are on a budget and need a quick way to "prime" your eye, I suggest you use your foundation as a "base" coat prior to putting your eye shadow on. So when you put your foundation on you should also apply a small amount to your eye lid as well so that your eye shadow has something to adhere to. Now this is the budget way of doing it, but it works. Now to keep your color in place it is also good to use a powder to seal in your work and keep your face from getting shiny during the day. A good translucent powder would be good to set your make-up and eye shadow. Translucent powder will allow the color of the eye shadow to show through without making your look seem "cloudy" or muted.
So get your eyeshadow out and start working those colors! Set it and forget it! Yay to beautiful eyeshadow with no more eye creases!
Stay Gorgeous, beautiful, sexy, and fabulous! Remember no one else can wear the look like you can, embrace your beauty and shine!
